The doors used in commercial settings will be standard flat slab designs without any decorative features. Edge banded doors made from plywood MDF Melamine or RTF (Rigid Therma Foil) are standard options for these applications.

For projects that require real wood materials we can explore veneer options that allow staining and finishing or natural wood finish application or catalysed finish application for enhanced durability and natural appearance. The sheen level in the past five years shows a distinct preference toward matte finishes. Current market trends show that 20-30% shine level represents the most popular choice among other options such as 60 for semi gloss and 30 for satin finish.

The Espresso phase appeared for multiple years over oak or Maple before shifting to the Walnut phase which has now progressed to Driftwood or White Oak phase that always feels timeless.

The current trend shows little use of Maple wood because people prefer wood with more pronounced grain patterns and avoid the red and yellow color schemes.

The current trend includes white washes and grey washes with visible grain patterns.Maple wood can be used in Mid Century homes but only for specific case study homes that follow architectural guidelines.
